8th Annual Civil War Battle & Living History Weekend

The Historic Village of Rockford and the 7th North Carolina Cavalry along with the 21st Infantry, NC 30th and the NC 28th reenactors invite you to step back in time and experience the life of a civil war soldier at the 8th Annual Battle in Rockford Reenactment.

 

Homemade country ham biscuits, chicken stew, pintos and cornbread and the infamous fried apple pies available inside the store.

 

Event is Free and open to the public.

Rockford General Store

An original old fashioned country general store that has been in operation since 1890. Creaky wooden floors, old fashioned candy jars, hoop cheese, Nehi and Crush soft drinks are just a few old timey items you will discover at the Rockford General Store. Stop by the store to pick up a package for your self guided walking tour. Stroll at your leisure through the Historic Village of Rockford.
