
Yesterday we spent most of the day at the
Confluence Fall Festival. The weather was cold and windy, but there was a good turnout despite the weather.

I bought these stuffed goats from
Hoegger Goat Supply to display in my booth at the craft shows. The large Nubian is modeled after one the prize goats from the Carl Sandburg Home,
Connemara Farms located in Western North Carolina.

You'd be surprised how many pairs of boots you wear out working on a farm. Above, is a picture of some of the boot and cooking pot bird houses that Johnny has been making. He's selling them for $8 each, if anyone is interested in one. Several people bought them yesterday for unique Christmas gifts.
