Shop Small with Buffalo Creek Farm & Creamery AND Local Businesses!

On Small Business Saturday (November 28, 2015), customers will be able to SAMPLE lots of our goat's milk cheese from 10AM until. We will also have representatives from several small businesses who sell some of their products in our Farm Store - - Long Family Farm, Tyson Farm, Running Pine Farm, Dinner Time Chimes, Crooked Run Vineyards, Sweet Mornings Farm, VineWorks, and Shady Creek Farm. Piemonte Farm, fellow cheesemaker from the NC Cheese Trail, will be here with their artisan aged cow cheese and maybe more surprises. In The Screaming Radish food truck, Chef Kevin Reddick will be cooking up delicious cuisine with products from local farms and family owned companies for customers to purchase and enjoy for lunch while relaxing on the farm. Look for these vendors outside the Farm Store on Small Business Saturday with their products and demonstrations.

----->Our friends at Plum Granny Farm, just 20 minutes away in King, will also be hosting a Small Business Saturday event on their farm from 10am-4pm on the 28th.  Look for Greenberries Farm, Jewelry by Wonder/Tree of Life Crafts, Mystic Wench Herbs, Truffles NC, Farmgirl Arts, and Rail Fence Farm there. Make plans to shop small with those local businesses too!<----- font="">

The holidays are just around the corner. Bring your coolers and your CASH to do some shopping with these small businesses! (Cash is preferred as not all vendors accept plastic or checks.)

In our Farm Store, we sell our aged raw milk goat cheese, brined and marinated feta, flavored Farmers Cheese, plain and flavored chevres, Queso Fresco, farm-fresh eggs, farmstead meats (beef, lamb, & chicken) and handmade goat's milk soap. We also sell local North Carolina handmade gifts and jams, jellies, honey, canned foods, dried herbs, candied pecans, etc. Farm and goat gifts are available also - toys, necklaces, ornaments, tote bags, windchimes, candles and more! Like goat's milk in something other than cheese? We also have soap, shampoo bars, facial bars, lotions and laundry detergent all made with goat's milk too.

Hope to see you the 28th if not before! Remember to support other small businesses in your area on this day and all year long too!

Shop Small with Buffalo Creek Farm and Creamery

Plan to join us again this year on Small Business Saturday (November 29, 2014). Small Business Saturday is an American shopping holiday held on the Saturday after Thanksgiving during one of the busiest shopping periods of the year. First observed on November 27, 2010, it is a counterpart to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, which feature big box retail and e-commerce stores respectively. Small Business Saturday encourages holiday shoppers to patronize brick and mortar businesses that are small and local.

At our farm, customers will be able to SAMPLE lots of our goat's milk cheese and more. We are including other small businesses who sell some of their products in our Farm Store during this event. They will be doing demonstrations and sampling outside the Farm Store that day.

Facebook and website will be updated with full details closer to Small Business Saturday.

We appreciate you supporting our farm and local farmers bringing fresh veggies, fruits, meats, baked goods and other local goodness to you!

http://buffalocreekfarmandcreamery.com/farmstore_main.htmlAs a reminder, our farm store is just a few miles North of Winston-Salem Hwy 65 and Hwy 8 (Germanton Road) at the Forsyth / Stokes County line. We're open daily (9-6 Monday-Saturday and 1-6 Sunday) and there we have all varieties of our farmstead goat's raw milk aged and fresh goat's milk cheeses, farmstead meats (grass fed beef, pastured lamb, pastured chicken), pastured free range eggs, local jams and jellies, local foods, goat's milk lotions and soaps, gift items, farm toys, and more!  Our Farm Store is located in a corner of our pastures where our Nubian dairy goats roam.  These are the girls that are milked daily.  They provide the milk we use in the dairy on the lower level of our Farm Store to make the goat's milk cheese that you'll enjoy sampling during your visit with us!

Our cheeses are also available at local farmer's markets and local stores.  Visit our website to find out
everywhere that you can purchase or enjoy Buffalo Creek Farm and Creamery's farmstead goat's milk cheese.

Goat Cheese at Winston-Salem Farmer's Market

Market Reminder!  Every Saturday morning until November 22, 2014 you'll find us in historic Old Salem at the Cobblestone Farmers Market.  This truly is one of the prettiest settings for a farmer's market--tucked away in the edge of beautiful Old Salem, yet convenient to Highway 52/Interstate 40 making it easily accessible to everyone in and around Winston-Salem.

Visit the Cobblestone Farmers Market Facebook page for details on what the other vendors are bringing this week!

We sample a few types of our farmstead goat's milk cheeses each week to help you find more flavors and types of our goat cheese that you'll love!

The coolers are stocked with your favorite cheeses and we bring a display filled with a variety of our goat's milk soaps too.  Come by to sample some cheese, ask questions about how we raise our goats, milk the goats, and make the cheese all on our 34-acre farm in Forsyth County.  Hope to see you there!
