Our farm is located at 3241 Buffalo Creek Farm Road, in Germanton on the Forsyth/Stokes County line, near the intersection of Hwy 65 and Hwy 8 (Germanton Rd)--6 miles from Winston-Salem. Our Farm Store is open daily 9-6 Monday-Saturday and 1-6 on Sundays except Christmas Day. We are handicap accessible.  We are NOT GPS friendly - - - use Google Maps instead or give us a call for directions.
On Small Business Saturday (November 29, 2014), customers will be able to SAMPLE lots of our goat's milk cheese from 9AM until. We will also have representatives from several small businesses who sell some of their products in our Farm Store - - Mother Holtz Farm, Mystic Wench, Tyson Farm, Crooked Run Vineyards, Long Family Farm, Fantasy Photography, Running Pine Herb Farm, Nothin' But Nola and Dinner Time Chimes.  Piemonte Farm, fellow cheesemaker from the NC Cheese Trail, will be here with their artisan aged cow cheese and maybe more surprises.  We might just add a couple more. Look for these vendors outside the Farm Store on Small Business Saturday with their products and demonstrations.
Everyone who stops by on Saturday and visits our Farm Store can enter to win gift sets containing our goat's milk soap and other items too, including children's items. Each customer spending at least $10 in the Farm Store will receive a FREE ornament (available in the store for $5). There will also be sampling and drawings for free products at the vendor booths outside the Farm Store, so be sure to stop in and see them too!
The holidays are just around the corner. Bring your coolers and your CASH to do some shopping with these small businesses! (Cash is preferred as not all vendors accept plastic or checks.)
Check the farm's Facebook page closer to the event for more details. (There may be additions, deletions or revisions to some of the information above as the time draws closer.)  We'll be posting what each of these vendors will be bringing as time nears.
In our Farm Store, we sell our aged raw milk goat cheese, brined and marinated feta, flavored Farmers Cheese, plain and flavored chevres, Queso Fresco, farm-fresh eggs, farmstead meats (beef and lamb) and handmade goat's milk soap.  We also sell local North Carolina handmade gifts and jams, jellies, honey, ketchup, canned foods, dried herbs, peanut butter, candied pecans, etc. Farm and goat gifts are available also - toys, necklaces, ornaments, tote bags, windchimes, candles and more! Like goat's milk in something other than cheese? We also have soap, shampoo bars, facial bars, lotions and laundry detergent all made with goat's milk too.
Hope to see you the 29th if not before! Remember to support other small businesses in your area on this day and all year long too!

Market Reminder for Saturday in Old Salem

Market Reminder!  Every Saturday morning until November 22, 2014 you'll find us in historic Old Salem at the Cobblestone Farmers Market.  This truly is one of the prettiest settings for a farmer's market--tucked away in the edge of beautiful Old Salem, yet convenient to Highway 52/Interstate 40 making it easily accessible to everyone in and around Winston-Salem.

Visit the Cobblestone Farmers Market Facebook page for details on what the other vendors are bringing this week!

We sample a few types of our farmstead goat's milk cheeses each week to help you find more flavors and types of our goat cheese that you'll love!

The coolers are stocked with your favorite cheeses and we bring a display filled with a variety of our goat's milk soaps too.  Come by to sample some cheese, ask questions about how we raise our goats, milk the goats, and make the cheese all on our 34-acre farm in Forsyth County.  Hope to see you there!

We appreciate you supporting our farm and local farmers bringing fresh veggies, fruits, meats, baked goods and other local goodness to you!

http://buffalocreekfarmandcreamery.com/farmstore_main.htmlAs a reminder, our farm store is just a few miles North of Winston-Salem Hwy 65 and Hwy 8 (Germanton Road) at the Forsyth / Stokes County line. We're open daily (9-6 Monday-Saturday and 1-6 Sunday) and there we have all varieties of our farmstead goat's raw milk aged and fresh goat's milk cheeses, farmstead meats (grass fed beef, pastured lamb, pastured chicken), pastured free range eggs, local jams and jellies, local foods, goat's milk lotions and soaps, gift items, farm toys, and more!  Our Farm Store is located in a corner of our pastures where our Nubian dairy goats roam.  These are the girls that are milked daily.  They provide the milk we use in the dairy on the lower level of our Farm Store to make the goat's milk cheese that you'll enjoy sampling during your visit with us!

Our cheeses are also available at local farmer's markets and local stores.  Visit our website to find out
