Saturday Market Reminder

We produce raw milk aged farmstead cheeses, fresh chevres (soft goat cheese, available plain or flavored), feta (available brined or marinated) and farmers cheese (available plain or flavored) using only milk from our goat herd, in our new creamery.

Each Saturday morning from 9am until noon you'll find us set up at the Cobblestone Farmers Market in Old Salem selling our farmstead goat cheese.
Old Salem Cobblestone Farmers Market's vendors will be set up adjacent to the Single Brothers Garden at the Intersection of West Street and Salt Street in Winston-Salem, NC. The market runs through November 23rd.
We pack the coolers with a variety of out goat milk cheeses and bring along a crate of our handmade goat's milk soap too. We'll be sampling a few of our cheeses each week too, so be sure to stop by our tent to say hi and try the goat cheeses!

Visit our farm's website for a list of other local stores and markets where customers are now able to purchase our goat cheeses in addition to our on-site farm store, which is just a few miles North of Winston-Salem. Plan a trip to the farm to visit with us and meet the girls!

Every Wednesday since May, we've met you at the King Farmers' Market in the parking lot of the Stokes Family YMCA--this is the LAST week for that market!

Small Business Saturday

On Small Business Saturday (November 30, 2013), customers will be able to SAMPLE lots of our goat's milk cheese from 9AM until.  We will also have several representatives from farms who sell some of their products in our Farm Store - - Mother Holtz Farm and Tyson Farm.  Long Family Farm will be here with their soaps and lotions along with Dinner Time Chimes who makes many of our goat and animal crafts.  Fantasy Photography, our farm's photographer, will be here too!  We might just add a couple more.  Look for these vendors outside the Farm Store on Small Business Saturday with their products and demonstrations.

Everyone who stops by on Saturday and visits our
Farm Store can enter to win a gift set containing our goat's milk soap. Each customer spending at least $10 in the Farm Store will receive a FREE ornament (available in the store for $5).  There will also be sampling and drawings for free products at the vendor booths outside the Farm Store, so be sure to stop in and see them too!

The holiday's are just around the corner. Bring your coolers and your cash to do some shopping with these small businesses!

Our International Cheese Competition Results!

We are pleased to announce that metals have been awarded in the 2013 N.C. State Fair's International Cheese Competition. We were the smallest and newest farmstead dairy represented and are honored to have been awarded a Silver metal for our feta and Bronze metals for our Unflavored, Garlic and Chive and Date and Honey Chevres.

You can grow great garlic at home – garlic is easy, if you know the basics. Learn to choose the right varieties for your taste, when to plant, how to tend, and then how to harvest, cure and store your crop. Seed garlic will be for sale.

This lunch time workshop will last about one hour. Attendees may bring a lunch; beverages provided.
