Greensboro Local Food Meetup and Happy Hour at Lucky 32

After Wednesday's Greensboro Curb Farmers Market, join Carolina Farm Stewardship Association later for a happy hour at Lucky 32 Southern Kitchen. They'll be talking local food and agriculture with farmers, food artisans and passionate food-loving neighbors! If you've got a great food project in the works, come tell them about it!

Representatives from various local food projects will be present to discuss their work in a casual setting. Speakers include Leon Moses of NCA&T's campus farm and Elizabeth Gibbs, Greensboro Curb Farmers Market manager.

Carolina Farm Stewardship Association will give away mason jars to quench your thirst in a true, reverent Southern style. Chef Jay Pierce, a nationally-acclaimed chef lauded for his conscious commitment to locally-sourced and seasonal ingredients, will offer an appetizer special for meetup attendees.
