September 29, 2012:

All about Lavender presented by Sandra Sarlinga, Manager of Sunshine Lavender Farm in Orange County, NC.
Explore everything about this ancient herb, prized for its fragrance, color, and beauty. How to grow, harvest, craft, and taste lavender.

Workshops are presented by Old Salem Museums & Gardens Department of Horticulture. Non-perishable food items appreciated for Second Harvest Food Bank.
