National Farm City Week
November 16-25 is National Farm-City Week - - - a celebration of the relationships between rural and urban residents.
Across North Carolina, the relationship between city life and farm life continues to grow more dynamic. Development is moving closer to farmland, and in many cases it’s replacing farmland. Still, agriculture remains North Carolina’s top industry. It generates more than $74 billion in income and driving the economies of small towns from the mountains to the coast.
