Take a guided tour by candlelight through the historic district where the customs and traditions of an 18th or 19th century Salem Christmas will be brought to life. The evening includes music, food and drink, and interaction with Old Salem interpreters to create special memories. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for children and $18 for Friends of Old Salem. Pre-registration required.
The Winston-Salem Symphony will be joined by the Symphony Chorale with guest soloists Kathryn Mueller, soprano, and Diana Yodzis, mezzo soprano, for this holiday concert filled with many familiar works. Beginning a half hour before each concert, guest organist John Cummins will perform a 25-minute prelude on the Tannenberg Organ. Cost $50 adults, $15 students and children under 18.
Join us for the annual celebration of Moravian Christmas traditions throughout the Historic Town of Salem. Buildings will open at 10:00 a.m. and close at 5:00 p.m. At 5:15 p.m. we will gather on Salem Square for carol singing and lighting of the Chirstmas pyramid. Activities are included with an All-In-One ticket, which are $21 for adults and $10 for children ages 6-16.
