We produce raw milk aged farmstead cheeses, fresh chevres (soft goat cheese, available plain or flavored), feta (available brined or marinated) and farmers cheese (available plain or flavored) using only milk from our goat herd, in our new creamery.
Each Saturday morning from 9am until noon you'll find us set up at the Cobblestone Farmers Market in Old Salem selling our farmstead goat cheese.
We pack the coolers with a variety of out goat milk cheeses and bring along a crate of our handmade goat's milk soap too. We'll be sampling a few of our cheeses each week too, so be sure to stop by our tent to say hi and try the goat cheeses!
Visit our farm's website for a list of other local stores and markets where customers are now able to purchase our goat cheeses in addition to our on-site farm store, which is just a few miles North of Winston-Salem. Plan a trip to the farm to visit with us and meet the girls!
Old Salem Cobblestone Farmers Market:
July 6th, 9am-12pm
The advantages of sustainable farming will be bounding from the marketplace and into the Single Brothers Garden this Saturday! The Peppercorn Children's Theater comes to Old Salem Museums and Gardens with their newest performance, "Way Down Yonder (in the Paw Paw Patch)", sponsored by Cobblestone Farmers Market vendor, Sugar Creek Farm. Join brother and sister, Sol and Luna, as they search for the legendary Paw-Paw Patch. Learn about the earth, farming, and the day-to-day lives of the Aeternus family as they outwit the diabolical Herman Ease, who plots to buy their family farm. Folk music, storytelling and even a talking rooster await in this exciting adventure that will have the whole family laughing.
Check them out in the Single Brothers Garden after you shop! Saturday's showtimes are 11am and 2pm; tickets are $5.
