The Landscape for Life™ educational series instructs homeowners on how to create and maintain healthy and beautiful landscapes that benefit their family and the surrounding community.
Homeowners learn how to work with nature, no matter where they live, whether they garden in a city or suburban lot, a 20-acre farm or the common area of a condominium.
The educational series is comprised of four classes that explore the role of soils, water, vegetation and materials in sustainable landscape design.
Sustainable landscapes can help alleviate the pressure being placed on the Earth’s ecosystems by working with nature to provide clean air and water, fertile soils and other essential aspects of our daily lives.
The Landscape for Life™ series is a product of the Sustainable Sites Initiative- a partnership between the American Society of Landscape Architects, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center at The University of Texas at Austin and the United States Botanic Garden
