I've been milking Samantha, a Nigerian Dwarf dairy goat, for a few weeks now. She was just recently purchased from Sharon Rupp of Tranquility Acres in Mebane, NC.
I've been "on the waiting list" for Samantha for two years. It was just something about her colors that caught my eye, specifically, the tri colors and the gray roaning that she has.
Samantha had an eventful year at Tranquility Acres about five months ago giving birth to six kids. All six kids were healthy and survived and none of them were bottle fed. Now that's a good dairy doe for you.
Along with Samantha, Meredith, one of her doe kids, was also purchased. Meredith is the spitting image of her dam.
