Priddy's
General Store offers seasonal live bluegrass throughout the year. With their
events being a part of the Stokes County's “The Foothills Hayride” Music Trail,
they take pride in providing an authentic old fashioned venue that showcases local
talent found right here in Stokes County. Whether their event is outback on the
lawn of the old general store or inside you will truly experience the taste,
sight, sound and feel of the “good ole days” at Priddy's General Store. Where
great memories are made.
Winter

is an indoor event)
Summer
Event:“Red,
White &
Blue”... Memorial
Day Weekend (the Saturday before Memorial Day Monday) 3-7pm
( This is
an outdoor event please bring a chair. In case of rain, event is held inside
store. )
Fall
Event:The
Original Pickin' At Priddy's...
This one
begins the first Saturday in October and runs for 5 Saturdays in a row. Usually
it runs every Sat. in October and the first Sat. November unless there are 5
Saturdays in October. This one features an old time auction where folks donate
homemade baked goods, canned goods, crafts, crocheted scarves and more to
benefit Priddy's Christmas fund that is used to help needy families at Chrismas.

an outdoor event please bring a chair. In case of rain, event is held inside
store.)

Event:
Pickin' at
Priddy's Christmas... This
event is always the 2nd Saturday in December. Santa is from 4:30-7pm and music
is from 7-9 PM
Pictures are available at this event. (Santa is outside
and music is held inside store.)
Priddy's General Store is open six days a week, Monday through Saturday 8:00 AM - 6:00
PM.
Priddy's
General Store is located in Stokes County just outside Danbury, North Carolina
at the crossroads of Sheppard Mill Road and Pleasant View Church Road. We're
approximately 30 minutes north of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, near Hanging
Rock State Park.
Priddy's is where you'll learn the well-kept secrets of
Stokes County. There's tourist information available at the store, where you'll
find tourist maps including hiking and river trails.
