Forsyth Futures will present the results of the study "The Forsyth County Community Food System: A Foundation to Grow" at the Forsyth County Commissioners briefing on Thursday, January 31 at 2:00 p.m. in the commissioners' meeting room at the Forsyth County Government Center, 201 N. Chestnut St., Winston-Salem.
The study was supported by Forsyth Futures, The Winston-Salem Foundation and Forsyth County.
The goals of the study are to provide an objective assessment of the current local food system in Forsyth County, and to serve as a catalyst to maximize the impact of local foods.
